Brno Expat Centre
SC Internationa BEC provides help for skilled foreign professionals and their families who live and work in Brno or plan to do so. They also organise expert seminars and informal meetings where expats can exchange experience and make new contacts. Last but not least, they regularly publish useful articles, interviews with local expats and a monthly newsletter. Brno Tourist Information Centre
The city of Brno operates a cultural and information centre at Radnická 2, next to the Old Town Hal. It has a wide selection of maps, brochures and other information on Brno and the surrounding region. See http://ticbrno.cz/en. TIC Brno also administers a GO TO BRNO website that contains a number of monuments worth seeing, a list of good restaurants, bistros and bars, and tips for English-friendly events in Brno.
